Answers to some commonly asked questions
How long do your worship services last?
Our worship service is generally less than an hour. However, when we celebrate the Sacrament of the Lord's Supper or Baptism or when church officers are ordained and installed the service may last a few minutes more.
Do I have to dress up to come to church?
Absolutely not. You may dress in whatever manner you are comfortable. You may see one of the gentlemen at the worship service wearing a suit, shirt and tie seated next to someone wearing a casual shirt and jeans. All are welcome without regard to the clothes they are wearing - or any other outward appearance for that matter!
Are children welcome in the worship service?
Yes! Normally the children will be asked to come forward for a Youth Message after the first Scripture reading. The message focuses on a Biblical character or place.
Do you kneel?
When is Communion?
The Sacrament of the Lord's Supper is celebrated during the worship service on the first Sunday of each month and during other services throughout the year.
Will I be asked to join the church during the worship service?
Absolutely not. We hope that visitors feel welcome to visit. The sole criterion for membership is faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Anyone desiring to become a member of Faith Chapel should speak with our pastor or one of the elders.
Is the church available for weddings?
Yes. Please contact our pastor or one of the elders.
